Thanks for stopping by Echoes & Lines, which is another voice in the information outcry that is the internet. What I want to do here is turn that outcry into a softer tone, one that is easier to listen to. Information is thrown at us from every which way and sometimes we take in so much so quickly that we forget to pause and say "I'm full." My goal is to streamline my own information intake and to produce it here; a digital archive of my brain if you will. I do this for my own personal sanity and for maybe yours as well. My second goal is to shed light on the connectivity of all information and how the human experience is embedded in all that we take in. My third goal is to be a source that can help transform information into knowledge, mere facts into cognizance and intuition, a book into a verb.

In more concrete terms, I'm here to review books, produce weekly link posts to articles I have found on the web, and share music and art that I find inspiring. In a nut shell, I want to say "Hey, this piece of information made me stop and think and maybe it will make others do the same."

AND because paradoxes are fun...

Everybody gets so much information all day long that they lose their common sense. They listen so much that they forget to be natural. This is a nice story.
